It's wonderful! I just bought a glass lamp from GoodWill and bought a shade like that but it's too short..so back to get a proper shade and might just have to try this! I'm not sure I like my brass base...every tried painting the metal? Might try to make it silver...not sure yet. Thanks for the inspiration

Wow! thee lamps look as different as night & day! Very creative! I have never thought to do a slipcover for a lamp shade!
