I had so much fun making this little chair cover. The chair is wearing a little frilly dress.
The blue and white is so classic!
I hope to make more using linen and other pretty fabrics.
The ruffles are made of 100% ivory linen and a blue ticking stripe.
They hang down 7 inches.
Here's a nice shot of the botanical print fabric.
It really makes the seat of the chair look so much bigger!
I am in LOVE with this slipcover!
I use the rubbery shelf liner under this type of chair cover
to keep them from slipping around when the chair is sat on.
It works great!
Give that stuff a try. I get it at Dollar Tree for $1.00 per roll.
Thanks for taking a look ...
I listed it in my Etsy store too :)

Kelly, where do you get your fabric? IF it is an online source; PLEASE share. :) It is always soooooo unique, not to mention your sewing talent is over-the-top and is to be admired as well. The chair pad is adorable!

P.S: The shelving you mention also works well as a gripper on a lid if having difficulty opening a jar.
Such pretty fabric and I love the double ruffle.
Hi Brenda,
Thank you!! This fabric was some of the stuff I got from the flea market lady. I havn't been to see her in so long!
Great idea for the shelf liner! I'll have to remember that one. It also works for getting pet hair off of furniture. Not perfect but a huge help! (I have a long haired black cat... UGH!)

Another very pretty project. I love custom chair pads, something your neighbors don't have.
I'm thinking that soft goods are such a good thing to sell on ETSY.
Especially pillow covers. They cost so little to send, and you don't have to "up the price" for the down pillow form.

you are always up to the cutest and prettiest things. How smart you are.
Thanks Kelly. Mmmmm, I wonder where the Flea Market Lady gets her supply? I'm afraid if I were you, I'd find myself stalking her or digging through her garbage cans to find out. Just kidding of course. :) HAVE A GREAT DAY!
