Slipccoverd Mid Century Chair

I have a pair of these cool chairs.  I covered them in an oatmeal linen.

The pillow is a soft white linen with natural shell buttons.

This close up shows how beautiful the fabric is!

I put a small knife pleat at the bottom but still let the flaired out legs show.

Here's the before.  These chairs are very sturdy and clean.

Thanks for taking a look!

Kelly

As usual, they turned out beautifully! You really crank those slipcovers out, don't you? I so want to do a few pieces in linen but all I've seen around seems too lightweight. I did see some heavier fabric in New Zealand earlier this year and the price seemed okay ($32 a meter 55" upholstery grade). In Singapore the linens were too skimpy, I thought. Where do you get your linen? Good source? Heading off to Vietnam where supposedly I should be able to find some good stuff. Now....if only I could make beautiful slips, like YOU!
