I'm linking up to Cottage Instincts ~ Make It For Monday ~
Every time I went to the thrift store I saw this table. It was probably 5 months. FINALLY... I bought it. It took a while, but I saw the potential in it.
Here it is int he foyer. I got these two 1960's chairs a few years ago at the same thrift store. I actually paid $20.00 each for them, but I thought they were so unique. The seats are black patten leather/vinyl?
I'm thinking of slipcovering them in little white skirts. Maybe... maybe not.
I have one more little piece of moulding to put up on the stair wall. It's always something!
This is the other side of the foyer. The man at the consignment store GAVE me the three botanical prints!
One day I went in and helped him rearrange some of the store. I told him I wanted to buy them, but couldn't. He said they were sort of sold. Then he handed them to me and said "here, they're your's. Thanks for helping out today" Yeah!!
This is Krew with her chew chew in her mouth. I gave them each one so they would leave me alone while I took pictures. They still have to follow Mama around where ever I go.

I sure love looking at your lovely home. Way to rescue that cute little cabinet.
What a delightful table. It WAS just waiting for you to bring her home and claim her completely.
Cheers~

Kelly, you did a great job on that little chest! Looks great where it is... I need to get some silk (sorry) lol white tulips for my vase and put on the table I just redid. Anyway, its super looking!
Your home is beautiful. The mix of different styles is so pretty. Glad you finally bought the cabinet as it looks perfect.
That came out really nice, Kelly! I love your staircase and foyer. In fact, the peeks I'm getting of your home from these shots are really lovely!
I love the pics of your house! Now I feel like I need to work on mine more. :) You are really good at seeing the potential in pieces. That table looks awesome in white!

i adored your home, it's just my style..
Silvia...
You have a beautiful home and such unique furniture! I like the chairs as they are without slip covers. You amaze me with the things you can do.
I love how unique this table looks! Excellent job!
Your house is fabulous!
I like the molding on the front of it! 5 months IS a long time to be in one of those places!
Those are fabulous photos of your beautiful home... I love that "funny" little table/chest its just so interesting... You did a great job bringing it back to life too. I always love visiting your blog and look forward to a new project, like I look forward to a new Stephanie Plum novel!

What ivory paint did you use? I have been looking for the perfect ivory for a small chest of drawers and I just can't find one but I love this!
Thanks so much!

I really like it! I don't know if I would have seen the potential but it definitely had it!
I need to work on my "eye".
Great job!
Kelly,
I'm thinking of bringing you to Ohio to redo my whole house! Well if I were allowed to dream...! Your's is so pretty! Did you redesign the kitchen by yourself? I'm also curious as to the age of your beautiful home? I know you have added fabulous detail. Your little table is adorable!

I just love it! And those flowers! Are they real? You did a great job. Also, I love the contrast of the black chairs against the white.

I love your little table/cabinet. It looks so much better after you got a hold of it! I love buying furntiure at thrift stores and re-doing them. Come by and see my post today. I just got finished with my china cabinet. I love your blog.
Hugs,

The little cabinet is perfect where you placed it. Your home is lovely!..Christine
Kelly,
I hopped on over to your blog via Cottage Instincts and so glad I did! I am so impressed by your ability to "see" beyond the veneer of the thrift furniture you buy and transform into works of beauty. I have decent sewing ability but always "chicken out" with slipcovers. I love all of your slipcovered items...sure wish I lived closer.

Kelly, another STUNNING piece! Love how it fits perfectly into the stair-well niche area. Like it was meant to be there!
Girl..I absolutely love your style! Your home is beautiful! And little Krew can come live at my house anytime!
Your staircase is gorgeous!

OMGoodness! That table is awesome! And your home is {sigh} just BEAUTIFUL!
Dee Dee from DDzine sent me over here. I'm preparing to re-cover a couple thrift store chairs and she recommend I check out your blog. I'm so glad I came over. This is sewing heaven. I love your slipcovers and crib sets.
I would be so honored if you check out my chairs. Do you have email?

I love the pictures of your foyer. What a beautiful space. I would love you know the name of the green paint on your accent wall. I am still trying to find the perfect green for my dinning room. I am also loving that Krew is in the pic. I am trying to sneak at least one of the girls in each of my posts.
Thanks for sharing.
What a stylish table/cabinet. I think I like your idea of white skirts....pretty home and such a cute doggie!
The table turned out great. Your foyer is just beautiful!
Love how your table turned out...and especially love the side chairs (and i can imagine them with little skirts). Does your wall have polka dots? Love it!
great transformation, you've got a beautiful new table now!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! Looks great and I love your house too! I found you from Make it for Monday. I am your newest follower!!! I can't wait to see what you do next!

I love the little table. A coat of white or ivory paint can do so much for the charm of a piece, can't it? And I personally like the contrast with the chairs, but you could always change to slipcovers for variety with the seasons or on a whim!
This is my first time here, just wanted to say that your home is beautiful! Your furniture makeovers are inspiring to me. Take care. :)
