Here's The Kitchen!

Well, here it is without the drapes. I have 13 yards of this fabric, and still have to sew them. I got this flocked linen fabric (back there hanging) for $4.00 per yard but saw it at Hancock Fabrics for $30.00 per yrd! Click the photo and you can see the detail of the fabric. Then arrow back when finished. (but you'll see that I havn't finished grouting the tile). Back to Home Depot.

Here are the bamboo floors.

This chandelier came with black shades lined with silver. It looked too much like the little black dress with diamonds. So I found these neutral silk shades at Lowes. Click on this photo. You can see the detail of the beautiful chandelier.

I used this crystal onyx tile above the sink and in spots around the backsplash. Rate My Space people keep saying I should raise the blind. They don't like the "dead space". But the whole idea was to fill the space with the light fixture and sparkley tile. It's so pretty in person.

Oh and I still need the lights up in the cabinets.

I love the potfiller. I've already used it! Thanks to all who have stayed with me through all of this. .........Brenda, there's a comment for you on my previous post..... Thank You ;)

I'm glad you didn't listen to the RMS people on raising the valance. It's beautiful and I'm sure it's even more sparkly and beautiful in person. I love how your kitchen turned out, down to the last detail of swapping out the shades on the chandelier! Great job.

Kelly,
First, thanks for the tutorial in commenting...really helpful.
Second, your kitchen is wonderful..you did everything right!
I think it's great that you used bambo...it looks great, and is a readily renuable resource.
Don't raise the valance...sometimes, looking at the smaller photo, it's hard to see what you were going for...you did so well.
I am so glad you found me...
Now, go on that vacation?
I am gearing up for the 114 Christmas trees for Macy's.
